Is the break already over?!? I have enjoyed every moment of being all things lazy and devouring all things sugary! I think my Dr. just about had a heart attack when they weighed me at my prenatal check up! I couldn’t help but giggle and smile at all the excessive pounds I have gained over the past 2 weeks. Everything I ate was TOTALLY worth it!! I could really use one more week to continue my bad habits! Aside from being lazy, I did manage to get a few things marked off my every growing ‘to-do’ list. I LOVE being ahead of the game when I plan. There is nothing better than waking up to start a new week and knowing you’ve got your lessons all planned and ready to go! I will admit, there were a few weeks where I completely fell off that kick last semester. I am not one to make a ton of New Year’s Resolution because I know that more than likely…..they will fizz away. BUT, being ahead of the game on my lessons is one that I’ve got to keep! It just makes my mornings, my day, and my whole week run smoother! This week I know my kiddos are going to need some review on things from last semester. I wanted our centers to be very simple but yet, still effective. So, that’s what started my Snip, Think, and Stick Printables! I ran up to the school on Friday to set it all up, and with a 5 year old helping me out…I managed to snap a picture of one of the stations. It literally took all of 5 minutes to set them up. Nothing needed to be laminated or cut out!! Now,.. that’s what I’m talking about! I just added cotton balls as a manipulative for my kiddos to use. Super simple, quick, and easy! You can find those printables by clicking on the picture below. There are a few freebies in the download from my store. While I was there, I also prepped all my New Year countdown bags from Amy Lemon’s New Year Fun Unit. This is such a fun activity to do with your class! We are working on Long A with CVCe this week, so during my laziness, I finished up my Long A {activities and printables} unit. I also created the very same pack for Long O and Long I. We will be working on those in the upcoming weeks. I’ve got them all printed out and ready to make copies for the next few weeks lessons! And, because I love you all so, I will be giving away all of my Long Vowel packets away to one of you lovelies! All you need to do is: 1. Follow my blog {leave a comment} 2.
