While I’m sitting at OT for little P, I thought I’d share a fine motor activity with y’all! 😬 I’ll be doing preschool with him at home next year (his daycare got torn up by a storm🌪) and fine motor + alphabet are two things we’ll be hitting all year. Sticky Tables was a class favorite years ago! It gets kiddos up and moving!! 🤩 It works with multiple subject areas/standards and can also be used for informal assessments! 👍 My last post showed how to use it with skip counting and here I show it used with subitizing/number sense, ABC order, and handwriting practice. Re-sharing this skip counting number lines activity from years ago! 👉 Skip counting from any given number is such an important skill for our little ones - not just reciting 2,4,6,8,etc! Here's how we did it! Put sticky notes on the table, each student chooses one sticky note to start off with and then they just fill in the boxes using an expo marker on their desk! You could even use washi tape to create the number lines!
