Fairytale Freebies

I am back to share a few fairytale freebies with you all.
This week we did a fairytale unit and the kiddos have really enjoyed it. We read Goldilocks and the Three Bears by James Marshall and wrote what happened in the beginning, middle, and end of the story on index cards.
We just folded them in half to create flips….
We also read The Three Little Pigs by James Marshall. I love how they know exactly when the pigs are going to say “not by the hair of my chinny chin chin”! Cracks me right up every single time. After reading the kiddos had to identify the problem and solution of the story.
Their inventive spelling always makes me smile.
And lastly we read Little Red Riding Hood by James Marshall and Lon Po Po by Ed Young. The kiddos worked in pairs to compare the two stories and create this venn diagram.
You can find these activities for free in my Fairytale Pack by clicking here!
