Free Sight Word Activity
I’m sharing a free sight word activity today that I love! If you like the Ten Frame Words sight word activity, then I think you’ll love this one, too! It is somewhat similar. It incorporates math into sight word practice.
Students spin the spinner. If you don’t have plastic spinners, you could use a paperclip and pencil. Students find a word on their word list (or word wall, or cards) that match what they land on. They write the word on their recording sheet in the matching color. You could introduce this as a whole group by projecting the spinner page on the whiteboard and use a magnetic spinner. This would be great for a word work station, math station when learning about comparing numbers, partner activity, or as an intervention activity.
You can download this free activity here.
If you need editable or premade sight word cards, you can find those here (at the end of the post).
