It’s time to do some catching up! If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably seen that we are expecting our 2nd baby in June!!!! {Insert me jumping to the roof right here} We are on cloud 9!! We could not be more thrilled about this precious blessing! Although I have not had any sickness {praise tha’ lawd},….I am completely exhausted every.single.day!! I’ll take that over being sick any day of the week! This whole exhausted and falling asleep as soon as you get home thing completely explains my lack of blogging!! After lots of hibernation, I’m BACK, and with lots of freebies!! I don’t know about y’all, but here in Texas, skip counting is no longer the whole 2,4,6,8,10….5,10,15,20….10,20,30 thing. Our TEKS expectations want the kids counting by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s from ANY given number within 0-120. We are hitting this concept hard this week with lots of manipulatives and number lines! We covered this previously this year, but we could use lots of review! One activity we will use this week is this Turkey Trot activity. This could be used as a whole group, table groups or even as a center activity. 
To continue practicing word problems, this little number, Fallin’ for Solvin’ will be included in their math centers this week. 
With all the Thanksgiving activities we have planned for Friday, I knew I needed something in math that would have the kids up and moving around. To keep them moving, we will go on a little squirrel hunt figuring out all these Squirrely Numbers around the building! 
For Daily 5 word work, we will review nouns and verbs…. 
as well as ABC order to the 2nd letter with this activity. 
And, for some fun writing, we will use these Write Time pictures in our Daily 5 writing. The kids LOVE these things!
