This ‘You’re Worth More Than Gold’ writing activity is a favorite. I love the message! Students could write about themselves or a friend. Even if you do not teach prek/kinder, this leprechaun name wreath can be used in other ways. Here a few I shared about in my Instagram Stories:
-Place Value: write the number in the middle of the hat and show the number in different forms (expanded, word, picture, etc) on the beard pieces
-Ways to Make 10: write 10 in the middle of the hat and the different ways to make 10 on the beard pieces
-Phonics Sound/skill: write the sound/skill on the hat and the words on the beard pieces
Another teacher shared an idea on Instagram of writing a positive trait on each beard piece about a friend. I LOVE that idea!
