I have been head deep in Disney planning these past few weeks that I have totally neglected my blog. Shame on me! BUT, we are totally eating breakfast with Cinderella in 144 more days AND getting all dazzled up by the Fairy Godmother so I am one excited Momma!! Onto school stuff! Last week we worked on building, ordering and comparing numbers 50-80. We wrapped things up with these little ‘less than 50’ alligator hats. Click {here} to download the hat template. My kiddos just used white paper to make the teeth. I had some very interesting looking teeth on some of the alligators 🙂 Love when those little minds get creative! This week we have been learning all about cause and effect. An absolute FABULOUS book for cause and effect is The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. After reading and discussing, we made these cause and effect flip books with a craftivity of course! This little activity worked out just perfect this week because it actually SNOWED in Texas again!! Do excuse those terrible nails. Disney planning = no time for a professional manicure! So, a little emergency in home painting with my Rapunzel came to the rescue. My Tory’s LOVED playing in the snow! 🙂 Click {here} for The Snowy Day freebie activity. We didn’t quite get these MLK writings finished today, but I am loving how adorable their dreams are. Click {here} for the MLK activity. ….and I love how these little *long i* ice cuties turned out. Thank you Amy Lemons for your free penguin!! We have them hanging from our ceiling and they are pretty darn cute! Rapunzel is telling me it is time to get off the computer and read her new *big girl* Bible so… I am off to soak up some special time with her. I will be back on this weekend for a giveaway! Make sure you check back!!
