End of School Year Awards for Kids
Editable, AutoFill End of Year Awards – These end of school year awards for kids save you time being editable and they’re autofill! Simply type in your students’ names, grade level, date, and your name. The awards will autofill! Click print and you’re ready to go! Over 50 awards included! These are inclusive, diverse, and colorful! These also come with pictures and without. To see how to edit and autofill the awards, watch this video.
Award Show! – This is a fun way to celebrate your students and their awards. Grab 12×18 construction paper, paint, and glitter. Fold the paper in half (vertically) to create a pocket to hold the student’s awards.
Students stamp their handprint on the paper and write their name. I like to use a white paint marker for the names because it shows up better than a white crayon. Students can sprinkle glitter over their handprints while they are wet. Let the paint dry. Staple the sides of the paper to create a pocket that is open at the top. Slide the student’s awards inside the pocket. This makes it so easy to keep their awards tidy and prevent them from falling all over the floor.
I also like to add some popcorn, these trophies, and yellow tissue paper (to look like popcorn) inside a popcorn container. You can find popcorn containers at the Dollar Tree or here. I recommend using store bought pre-popped popcorn. You can buy the individual bags or put the popcorn in clear baggies.
Don’t forget to slide the student’s awards inside the construction paper pocket. Again, this makes it so easy to keep their awards tidy and prevent them from falling all over the floor.
Use a white paint marker to write students’ names on the trophies. Students will be so excited to receive a trophy with THIER NAME on it! So special! On the back, write a special note to them, or your name and year date!
I like to keep glitter inside plastic salt shakers! This makes it super easy for students to use without using a ton of glitter.
If you would rather not paint hands, students can trace their hands on the construction paper pockets and color their hands their favorite color. They could also decorate their hands with their favorite things (sports, activities, foods, etc). This makes it personalized, meaningful, and special.
The awards also come without pictures if you would rather not have clip art on the awards.
Award Frames – another fun way to celebrate end of year awards are with these free frames. NOTE: You will need to print the awards 2 to a page (5×7, portrait) in order for the awards to fit inside the frames. Print the frames on white card stock or colored card stock. Students can color the frames. You can find all the directions for these here or here!
Add magnetic tape to the back of the frames and families can display the student’s awards on their refrigerator! What a treasure to keep forever!
