Earth Day Activities for Kids
Earth Day Trash Truck Sort– Quite possibly my favorite! Students sort pictures by Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. These make an adorable bulletin board display.
Earth Day Pollution Sort– I love this sort! Student identify and sort pollution and not pollution!
Earth Day Fractions– These fractions are the perfect way to incorporate math into Earth Day learning!
Earth Day Vocabulary – These vocabulary cards can be used in a variety of ways! Sort on the white board as a whole group, use for ABC order, Word Walls, or in a phonics or writing station!
Earth Day Write the Room– I love this Write the Room activity because it adds some rigor! Place the cards around the classroom and student record the item above “trash” or “recycle”.
Earth Day Game– use this in a center, partner work, or morning work!
