End of the Year Place Value Number Sense activities
Good morning! I hope your week is off to a great start! I’ve got a few new math things that I want to share today – Place Value and Number Sense that is perfect for an end of the year review or summer school activity! I love when y’all tag me in these on Instagram! These math crafts always turn out SO cute and colorful!
Place Value: One of the main things that I love is that these can be easily differentiated to meet the level of students. They can be used as an independent follow up activity to your place value unit, an end of the year review activity, or as a math station activity! They also make such an adorable bulletin board display!
It includes craft templates (and blacklines), 6 different recording pages, and place value printable worksheets for hundreds, tens, ones, numbers 10 – 999. These could be used in a 1st grade or 2nd grade classroom.
Here are some more examples of how students could use the place value blocks within the craft.

It has tons of options on representing numbers. Students create ice cream with sprinkles to represent their number.
