Happy September! Goodness gracious it sure got here quick. Next it will be Octnovcember!
I’m popping in to share some fun apple activities with you. These apple activities were created with 1st and 2nd grade in mind, but could possibly be used in a Kinder classroom with guidance. I hope that these are helpful to you when planning out your Apple Unit. Let’s take a quick look.
One of my favorite things about this new activity pack is the Apple Journal. Lemme tell ya’, it includes ALLLLL the things!
See what I mean? It makes your apple learning a breeze because it keeps everything in one place. It includes pages for observing the outside and inside of an apple. It also includes labeling an apple, apple math, science, and taste test graphing. You could choose to do one page a day…or 2 a day…or however you want. Everything is stapled together to make a book so that your students can take it home in one nicely organized book at the end of your learning. Also, you could hang these in the room or on a bulletin board. So cute!
This craftivity is quite possibly one of my most favorites ever because it is very similar to my seed one from my Plant Unit. I absolutely love these! Not to mention that they make a way cute bulletin board display. Look at that cute little face!
Students label the inside and the outside of an apple all while making an apple!
Next up is this life cycle hat-ivity. Students order the life cycle stages on a sentence strip to create a hat.
Taste testing is always fun during an apple unit. Here is a fun follow up craftivity that students can make and write what their favorite apple is.
Lastly are several interactive notebook activities.
I love this one! Find a Friend gets students moving around the room and working together.
You can find all these activities in my new Apple Fun pack HERE.
If you’re looking for apple writing activities, those can be found here. They are differentiated for K-2nd/3rd.

I hope this post was helpful to you and helps make planning your apple unit a breeze!
