Back to School All About Me Activity

This Back to School All About Me activity can be used during the first day of school or first week of school to build friendships and celebrate difference or any time throughout the year to teach compare and contrast.  I have a whole line of themed venn-diagrams, too!

Back to School All About Me Activity

Group your students in groups of 2 and have them create their hair and face.  They can add their eye color by tracing around the black circle on the eyes with a crayon or maker. They can also add any other facial features such as glasses or freckles.

After creating their faces, they record their similarities and differences.  I recommend giving your students a set list of what to compare/contrast and a specific amount for each since the space is limited.

For example: 1 favorite color, 1 favorite activity, 1 favorite pet, etc.

If your students are not quite ready to write, they could use the included cut and paste pictures or stickers.

The cut and paste pictures are included within the download.

I found the stickers below at Hobby Lobby, but I’m sure there are also some available on Amazon or other stores.
