February Writing Activities and Crafts

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you all had a great and restful weekend.  I wanted to share some February writing activities and crafts with y’all. The best part: they’re currently ON SALE for the TPT Site Wide Sale!

February Writing Activities and Crafts

Write-Tivities are one of my favorite resources.  Why?  Because whether you’re teaching poetry, narrative, descriptive, expository, or any type of writing, there is an option for all!

Along with a variety of writing prompts, there are also several different brainstorming templates as well.  Let’s take a look at a few.

For Presidents Day there are 4 different writing prompt options with 3 different versions of lines (blank, single, triple).

Students can complete this 5W guide to write facts about George Washington.  This could be a follow up activity to a read aloud, educational video, or lesson.  Afterwards, students complete the craft and attach it to their finished writing.

Something else I love about these is that they include a blank template.  This template is great for Kindergarten or to draw a diagram/label.

Another option would be for students to use a brainstorming template to write a story:

These are so versatile and easy to use!

Here’s a look at a few more!

February writing is available HERE.

There are 7 crafts and 25 different prompts included within the February Write-tivities.  You can see all the prompts listed HERE.
