Fl{ow}ers, Probability, and a freebie…oh my!!!

Hi friends! We worked our little booties off today!! I was out yesterday with Jury Duty..so there was no time to waste today! We learned all out the sound of {ow and ou} today. Bubblegum Fraction Fun!!

I am popping on real quick today to show you some some crazy fun we had on Thursday with bubblegum. It is an oldie…but goodie! I have done this for a few years, and my kiddos always love it. I gave each kiddo a piece of bubblegum {the Hubba Bubba kind} and let them begin their attempts at blowing a bubble. Tops or Bottoms?

This week we are wrapping up our plant unit. I am pretty sure that my kiddos are going to be way more successful than me when it comes to having a green thumb. Everything I plant….dies. I am officially school lagged from being back to school this past week. I loved seeing my little kiddos, but getting up while it is still dark outside…notsomuch. Groundhogs, b{ean}s and b{ea}rs!!!

We definitely worked on fine motor skills today! Lots of sorting, cutting and gluing going on in our class!! I always love discussing Groundhog’s day! I love to see the kiddos predictions after reading a few groundhog books. Their predictions are MOST always a vote for the Spring! These babies are ready to get outside and play!!!
